‘to change the boundary between the parishes of Towednack and Ludgvan in line with Map 1.0’ . a move supported by Ludgvan Parish Council, ‘with no change to any other Community Governance arrangements for Towednack Parish’.
‘Cornwall Council considers that the proposed change would better reflect the identity and interest of the community in that area and secure more effective and convenient community governance.’
Cornwall Council are keen for people to comment, before they reach a final decision in July. For those who would prefer to comment in person, there is a public meeting taking place on Thursday 20th February at St John’s Hall, Penzance. There will be a drop in session prior to the meeting from 6.00 – 7.00pm followed by the meeting proper at 7.30pm. This will give you an opportunity to find out more about the consultation and let Cornwall Council know your views.
